EBRD Go Green credit line
In July 2024, Banca Intesa ad Beograd and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development signed an agreement on the use of a new credit line in the amount of EUR 15,000,000.
CREDIT LINE USERS
Beneficiaries can be small and medium-sized enterprises according to EU criteria:
- Less than 250 employees
- Revenues less than EUR 50 mln
- Total assets less than EUR 43 million
- that the majority are privately owned.
The number of employees is a binding condition.
In terms of financial criteria, the fulfillment of only one of the two criteria mentioned above is sufficient.
GRANTS
End users, after the successful implementation of the investment project, are entitled to grants (provided by the EU and the EBRD):
- in the amount of 15% of the loan amount for all projects of renewable energy sources and agribusiness,
- in the amount of 10% of the loan amount for all other projects
LENDING TERMS
• maximum loan amount: EUR 1,000,000 (clients who have used funds from previous EBRD programs can also apply)
• loan term: up to 5 years
• grace period: up to 2 years
PURPOSE OF CREDIT LINE FUNDS
The projects that will be financed with loans from this credit line are:
- investments in industrial facilities, equipment,
- Investments in software, improvement of company management systems and general upgrading and modernization,
and all under the condition and with the aim of increased compliance with one or more European Union Directives in the field of environmental protection, worker safety and product safety and quality.
Only new projects can be financed, i.e. projects whose implementation has started are not acceptable.
