Banca Intesa wins its 10th Best Bank in Serbia Global Finance award
Banca Intesa, part of international banking group Intesa Sanpaolo, has been named Best Bank in Serbia for 2025 by the international financial magazine Global Finance.
This marks the 10th time overall and 8th consecutive that Banca Intesa has received the award for Best Bank in Serbia, based on a range of objective criteria - such as growth in assets, profitability, strategicpartnership, new business development and product innovation - and the expert assessments of analysts, consultants and industry leaders.
The recognition is part of Global Finance’s global awards program, which honors the best-performing banks in nearly 150 countries, territories, and regions. According to the magazine, this year’s winners “attended carefully to their customers’ needs in difficult markets and accomplished strong results while laying the foundations for future success“, while also managing their „assets and liabilities in a savvy way in light of the fast-changing interest rate scenarios.
Founded in 1987 and headquartered in New York Global Finance has a readership of 50,000 worldwide. Its annual Best Banks awards are widely regarded as a trusted benchmark of excellence for the global financial industry.
